The GCPE team has a wide range of investment experience, spanning many geographies and industries. We focus on markets with attractive secular dynamics and are not prescriptive about sectors. We are attracted to businesses where there is an opportunity to provide follow on capital for consolidation opportunities. GCPE has short reporting lines and key investment decisions are made rapidly.
We assess investment opportunities on the following criteria: UK and European Mid-Market FocusWe are focused on businesses with a significant presence in the UK and Europe with enterprise values of between £10 million and £100 million. Strong Management TeamsWe believe strong management is critical to the success of any investment and we seek to partner with high quality management teams, motivated by significant equity ownership in their businesses. Industries with Attractive FundamentalsWe have a disciplined, analytical approach to evaluating industries for investment. In general we look for large, growing market opportunities or sectors where we can benefit from structural changes. Proven Business ModelsWe look for businesses which are differentiated from their competitors. We are attracted to businesses with the scope for acquisitive growth and / or roll-out potential and therefore the ability to earn attractive returns on incremental capital |
